A Board Certified Physician. He has been in practice for 30 years in Southern California. He received his undergraduate degree from U.C.L.A., his medical degree from University of California - Irvine, his internship from USC, and his residency was completed at U.C.L.A.

The past ten years he has exclusively practiced anti-aging medicine which includes weight control, sexual enhancement, natural hormone replacement therapy, and pain management.

Born in Chicago, Dr. Lacey came to California in 1973 and in 1974, began studies at the Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1977 after completing the 4-year curriculum in the accelerated 3-year program.

He entered into private practice and for the next 27 years operated a successful clinic, specializing in the treatment of cervical injuries and the control of headaches.

During this period he has treated over 10,000 patients in one of his several offices in Southern California. He is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, American Society of Bariatrics Physicians, American Holistic Society, American Academy of Pain Management and many other national and international societies. Dr. Garcia has lectured nationally and internationally. Some of the medical schools he has lectured at include:

Cordova University - Argentina
Beer Shiva University - Israel
University of Brazil
Italian Red Cross - Rome, Italy; and others

He has been on the attending staff of the University of Southern California, School of Medicine for 14 years. Dr. Garcia spent two years studying Oriental Medicine at Emperors College in Santa Monica, California. He also studied under Dr. M.J. Ongly, the leading authority in Orthopedic Medicine at his clinic in Mexico.

Most recently, he trained with Dr. Abdula Kalil at this center in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Garcia's program has been featured on CBS News, Orange County Register, Swedish Broadcasting Company, Wall Street Journal, Long Beach Business Journal and "Somersize" with Suzanne Somers.

 In 2004, he retired from active practice to open the New Hori-Zen Body Contouring Spa in Calabasas, California.

This past July, Dr. Lacey moved to San Juan Capistrano, Ca. and along with Dr. Garcia has created New Horizen Aesthetic Medical Spa.

Dr. Lacey was the first and only Lipo Massage ® facility in the San Fernando Valley owned and operated by a licensed physician and he is pleased to now be recreating this in San Juan Capistrano.

Dr. Lacey was actively involved in the development of the Lipo Massage® techniques in use today that reduce the appearance of cellulite, as well as the development of those procedures that dramatically shrink post liposuction irregularities, shorten the duration of bruising and swelling commonly associated with all post-surgical cosmetic procedures. These include rhinoplasty, blephroplasty, face-lift, tummy tucks and liposuction.

It should be noted here that the American Journal of Plastic Surgeons has recognized Lipo Massage ® as the most effective treatment for cellulite. Their only premise is that in order for the technique to be effective, it is essential that an adequately trained individual perform the procedures.
